Tehran Times says Al-Jazeera 'an asset of Israeli Intel'
The Tehran Times says that rumors which arose during the 1997 founding of the Qatar-based Al-Jazeera network, that suggested it was established by U.S. and Israeli agents 'to present a bad image of Islam to the world', appear now to be validated.
The Times say the actions of the network have over time revealed that that Al-Jazeera 'acts on the orders of Zionist agents', trying to divide Islamic countries and to increase anti-Muslim sentiment in the world, which ultimately, benefits Israel.
Since "the beginning of the U.S. attack on Afghanistan, Al-Jazeera became the Tribune of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda terrorist groups in order to give the world the impression that those terrorists represented real Islam." The Times say it is 'PsyOp'.
that maybe this is the Iranians getting their own back because Al-Jazeera portrayed them in a bad way. They could be in denial (as western religious groups are) that their 'cause' is unjust and they look to rubbish whoever dares to question them (a standard undermining tactic).
Or maybe they're telling the truth, since the US/Israel intel network tends to tangle such a complicated web you never know who's who and what's what by the end of it (bluff, double-bluff, disinformation, etc).
We'll never know, since whoever has a political ideal or agenda will use this to further their cause one way or another.
Al-Jizzum is nothing but propaganda against anyone that isn't muslim. I always thought this was to make everybody else the bad guy, not muslims. Trying to do reverse psychology on everybody and creating false conspiracies, blah is all I say to this Tehran Times piece of shit!!!

But I guess that doesnt matter though, because Iran is OBVIOUSLY a more productive, peace-loving, democratic nation than the U.S., Israel or any other country will be.

This part of the world has tremendous natural wealth and live at the crossroads of the world, yet for hundreds of years they have been enthusiastically destructive, regressive, and repressive. All they can do is assert they are perpetual victims of impossible conspiracies.

sounds not too dissimilar to the present-day US to me. Ah, no, I forgot, what they are doing in Iraq is 'liberating', 'democracising' and 'modernising' isn't it?
numerous Arab nations have had a go at Al-Jazeera for critizing their governments ....there's a good documentary called "the control room" about Al-Jazeera in Iraq .....shows how they opperate and how they feel about certain issues .......most shocking thing in the report for me was images of the head honcho for Al-Jazeera ringing the Pentagon and giving exact details to the US military as to their location in Baghdad only to be bombed shortly afterwards killing one of their journalists ......
There's a good scene too of the main guy going nuts because one of the people invited to talk on Iraq was in his words " a crazy activist" and wasn't balanced enough for their style of Journalism .....take it as you will.... Al-Jazeera have come under fire from the US (litterly) mainly for showing civilian and US wounded and dead, what do you expect them to do call their news reports "operation freedom" like the US media ...use the same name drempt up by the pentagon for the war ...something positive and catchy and cool ...with lots of video game style graphics so the US can wallow in it's technology thinking it's troops are safe over there and there are no women and children being slaughtered only terrorists. They ask one of the Al-Jazeera journalists if she is biased towards Arab nations ...she answers with a question ..."are the US media any different "?? she says .......
Oh you might want to consider that they're one of the only news agencies who actually speek the language of the region ...a good example of this was when the US troops staged that pulling down of the statue in Baghdad the BBC had a reporter talking to the camera with a load of children behind him chanting what he said was " god save Bush " in Arabic . Of course Al-Jazeera were pissing themselves because the kids were actually chanting "god kill Bush" ......so much for the delighted to see American troops slant .
I understand that they will take an Arab slant on things you should see the report it's well worth a watch especially the two geeks (and thats not anti-american because the two Marines sent to deal with the press come off as two prize assholes with no idea of the people, culture or history of the region." in the report not because Al-Jazeera paints them that way ...they do it themselves" ).
Maybe they should share offices with Fox ...now that would be reality TV gone mad !
As for the Tehran Times having a pop at them ...nothing new there .....most Arab nations have at some stage accused them of being pro-American .....
I think Al-Jazeera is probably one of the most objective and balanced news organizations operating in the world these days. Why do I say this? Because they have the leaders of all of the countries in the mideast, plus all of the **** in the US mad at them, and yet the majority of people in the middle east look to them as the only source of real truth that they can trust. Being hated by the establishment is a sign you're not toadying up to them. Good for Al-Jazeera.
You gotta be joking, right? You think they're balanced, but do you think they're fair? The way the journalist always report is by stretching the truth so far up your ass, that you agree with it, cause it floats your boat. They basically help feed the terrorists what they want. By spreading propaganda to mindless masses that view this station. I can't say the USA or any other country doesn't do this, but not as bad as Al-Jizzum!!!
