67 Year-Old Woman Expecting Twins

i just dont think thats right. Personally i dont think its fair on the child because at 67 how long do most people have to live? she could die a week after hes born because of old age and she wont be able to offer what younger parents can. Just my opinion and I dont want to get slammed for it *hint*

This is a very selfish thing to do with no regard for the child. She should have adopted years ago instead of this nonsense.

I am so friggin glad I had mine young. At least this way I can kinda grow up with them. *sigh*

This is rediculous. It's not fair to the child.

i think they should put cap limits on child birth like the minimum age for sex is 16 meaning 16 is the earlier pregnancy age (i think lol) and they should have a cap when you reach a certain age it becomes illegal to have a child but saying that and doing it are two different things :( only sure fire way to 100% make it successful is to ban sex to over X age which isnt fair! ( i showed both sides of argument so no slamming me)

Of course, there will be people who will then start complaining to the government how they are restricting the people's freedom to have a child.

She had all that time to have kids and waited until she was 67 years old? Those kids will probably be unhealthy.

Studies say that you should have kids BEFORE you are 35. After that, the child has a greater change of having Down's Syndrome and other health problems.

It's one thing if it happened naturally. But to use fertility treatments at 67 is just plain WRONG!

It is a sad thing that the kids will likely grow up without a mother for the most part. 67 is too damned old to be bringing kids into the world. What an idiot.

Had this article been about an 87 year old man whose 21 year old mistress gave birth to twins, I believe there probably wouldn't have been a "not right imo" remark. That being said, since the woman apparently wants the kids that badly, I don't see why she shouldn't have them at 67 years of age. At least those kids would have been much more well taken care of than the kids of the woman in TX who drowned them. Furthermore the 67 years old woman isn't the oldest woman to give birth to a child - In the Bible, Sarah gave birth to Isaac at 90 years of age.

Maybe she wants to sell them-- she lives in Romania, after all. (or to make really fun of it-- Romania was Transylvania and maybe she wants to eat them).

But, seriously-- child-trafficking is a HUGE problem over here in Eastern and Central European countries--- mostly the Germans and the French are customers. There's a lot less news-coverage on this topic in the States but it's a big problem.

If she sold them she would make a lot of money, however, with all the publicity she'd have a hard time getting away with it.

Just a thought.... otherwise, she is nuts and crazy thinking she can raise these kids to maturity.

Had the woman wanted to sell the babies she probably would have done it at a much earlier age than 67 years old. I think the possibility of it happening in this case is greatly reduced.
