19 Iraqis Die In Suicide Attack

18 Iraqi National Guardsmen and a civilian died today after a suicide bomber caused an explosion next to an Iraqi security force bus. The incident took place in Balad, north of Baghdad, in the so-called Sunni Triangle.

Insurgents have increased attacks in the run up to the January 30th national elections. Iraqi police and National Guards are supplying security for the election.
