Man Arrested for Hoax Tsunami Death Email

A man has been arrested in the UK after he allegedly sent an email to the families of those listed as missing in Asia – posing as a government official and telling the recipient that their loved ones have been confirmed dead.

The man, described by Police as 40-years-old, was using information posted by families on the Sky News Web site. He was allegedly using the email address ukgovoffice@aol.com and is being held in London.

A Police spokesperson said: "The British government would not use email to convey news of the death of a loved one. Anyone receiving such an email should treat it with utmost caution." Sky News reported the hoax to Police.

  Don't know myself...

They introduce about a dozen new laws a week.

Gone are the days of 'Ignorance is no excuse' Now I can get two lawyers in a room and the advice can be different every time. What hope have we?

Soon we will be like the US with so many in jail.

'You did not know you had to dress on the left?' 'It's your responsability to keep up to date with all current laws' <Donning black headgear> 'You have been found guilty of dressing on the right. The sentence is.......
