KLM Slashes Prices to European Destinations

As of yesterday, Air France KLM were offering prices that were discounted by 40% in an effort to compete with Europe’s growing budget airlines industry. The ticket prices will apply to all flights out of Amsterdam, to 66 destination cities.

The airline said in a statement that "It's the biggest price cut in the history of KLM ... The new tariffs, which will be valid for the entire year, are similar to (big discount) action tariffs." Some new costs, however, will be introduced.
