New Cockroach Species Discovered

Scientists have said they’ve discovered a “giant cockroach” and other new insect species’ in the jungles of Borneo. An expedition conducted by the Nature Conservancy also announced that they found new species’ of plants and fish.

The expedition was led into caves in Borneo. Borneo is not protected by law from mining and logging, despite it being one of the world’s richest regions when it comes to biodiversity. The expedition team is calling for the region’s conservation.

Scott Stanley from Nature Conservancy said: “If something is not done soon to protect these areas, dozens of species could disappear before anyone knew they ever existed." The “giant cockroach” found in Borneo is 10cm, or 4 inches, long.

  I think...

...Georgius W. Bushius might be more appropriate. Oh no wait, a very rare monkey species living in the US has already been given this name. Then Donaldus Rumsfeldius it will be.

  I am disappointed

I really thought that my post would have generated more jokes. All I got was 2 feeble attempts at liberal humor. I know, I know. Liberal Humor is an oxymoron.

  Wonderful!

Actually, when I first saw the heading, I thought that they were referring to G.W. Bush...but I digress. Anyway, har har, (no really) this is all this planet needs, is another gawd dang cockroach, like, don't we have enough of these kind? What happened to that man sized praying mantis they evented 8 years ago, you know, the one from Mimic? (The Movie, they used these giant mantis' to eat cockroaches) We certainly could use some of them right now...why oh why did they have to kill them all off?

  Well,

this certainly did turn into a bit of fun after all. You know, crying never solved anything and crying about Bush beating Kerry will not get a Democrat elected in '08. For those of you who are politically active, you should have started fund raising already. Get involved in the process if you are not already. Lastly, have some fun for christ's sake. Listening to someone moan and groan about Bush is not going to attract more voters to any political movement. You gotta be optimistic. Personally, I hope you all get depressed and give up, but where would the fun be in that for a conservative Libertarian such as myself.

Yeah, I is important to try and make a difference. I find it important to educate people on the politicle scale, and give definition to politicle lables. If more people knew that its not just being a Liberal, or Conservitive, its also being Authoritarian or Libertarian. I bought a few of naders books, have yet to donate, better of towards salvation army now.
I find if hillarious to make fun of the last two canidates. Bush is a walking Joke, and Kerry was a fool. But expecting change from either side is insane, expect the same BS in 08. And I am personally not crazy biased, because although i totaly disagree with 90+% of the LP views on economics, I would really like to have them in office. (not more then nader or cobb).
