Current Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas has lashed out at Israel after the death of seven Palestinians, calling Israel a “Zionist enemy”. Abbas is known as a moderate and is expected to win this month’s elections.
Speaking from a stronghold of the Palestinian uprising, Abbas said: “We are praying for the souls of our martyrs who fell today to the shells of the Zionist enemy." He made the comments at a campaign rally in Khan Younis.
Nostradamus 'predicted' the next anti-christ guy to be called 'Mabus'.... I am just wondering if there has been any speculation on the ascension of Mahmoud Abbas into the role of Palestinian leadership. He's certainly got the ability now to start some serious stuff in the middle-east...

well, in the case of hitler he was off by a letter or something. could be, who knows but i wont place a bet either way. but i think this is just a pre election play for votes, just as bush or kerry would have done, as any politition whould do.
Is a fake. Most of the things he is said to have predicted, are found only on the Internet. You know why? Because people have made up or changed his 'prophecies'.
So I doubt he actually predicted the anti-christs name. For starters, it would be in the bible somewhere of who the anti christ is/will be. As his identity is not revealed, and we are not told that a 'prophet' will tell us who he is well in advance, Id say any Nostradamus stuff about it is false.
from a book I read a few years before the internet, Nostradamus listed 3 antichrists. Napaulon (Napoleon), Hifter, or possibly Hister (Hitler) and the last one, Mabus (?). The bible didn't say anything about dinsoaurs being around for 180 million years either, as compared to man at a maximum of 2 million.
On the subject of the actual news story, I also thought as soon as I read it that he's just catering for the popular vote, being as he is "known as a moderate" and all.
that he won't be truly 'moderate'. I think the Israelis will be frustrated over his ranting and raving and further retaliate against the Palestinian people, innocents be damned. They will counter-attack with more aggression and ever before and this thing could escalate into true mid-east conflict because allll the other muslim people are watching Mabus... err.. I mean M. Abbas very closely and following his example.
...Wabus, if you flip the M. Not out of the realm of possibility, since he seemed to be off on his other predictions by a letter or two. If it was that, a case could be made for George Walker Bush.
Mabus = Ma Bus = My Bus? Terrorist attack with a bus? It could be anything thats why i don't like predictions because it can be interperted, translate in anyway possible
Try looking up the connection between Bush and the predictions. Quite frankly it's just subjective guessing. Leonardo was well ahead of his time, so too wasGeorge Orwell. It's not that hard to make some guesses about the future, as long as they're not impossible, they will eventually come true.
But it's fun, and a good distraction from the big scary reality. You have to laugh at this stuff or else cry. I chose to laugh. Plus, Nostradamus gave me the jibblies when I watched that freaking documentary about him ,hosted by Orson Welles, when I was a kid.
But, y'know... somewhere someday some bastard is going to do something that will make this supposed 'anti-christ' look like Charlie Brown. Probably sooner than later...
A few weeks back a Mahmoud Abbas was telling about his special relationship his god, Allah. They were close, and Allah was always protecting him and keeping him from harm.
In fact, whenever he woke at night to answer nature's call, Allah would light the way for him, and turn it out when he was finished and returning to bed!
