Peyton Manning nabs Offensive Player of the Year
 

Peyton Manning received 35 votes from a panel of 48 writers and broadcasters who cover pro football. He won easily over Terrell Owens and Vikings quarterback Daunte Culpepper, who each got only four votes.

The star of the Colt's offense broke Dan Marino's touchdown record by 5 this season and isn't done yet.

"The regular season is over with and it's been a good run for us," Manning said. "Statistically, those things don't carry a lot of weight in the playoffs."

 Marino had 48, Manning has 49. Not a small accomplishment though.

  I read this headline and thought...  
 ...what did this guy Manning do to deserve that title? Does he use a lot of profanity when he speaks? Is it his appearance?

I guess I'm just too tired right now.

 He may have broken the record, but like most of buddies and I say, bet they are knocked out in the first round or secound round of the playoffs
