Robb Reports, an auto magazine, has named the Aston Martin DB9 as 2005 Car of the Year, stating that the car "a rare automobile that will go the distance, and then go beyond the farthest horizon."
The award is given annually to sports and luxury cars who have been released the year before. The DB9 was selected from a group of 13 finalists, including the Acura RL, the Chevrolet Corvette, the Lotus Elise and the Land Rover LR3.
