A new route for Carnival Cruise Line turned out to be nothing last week after one of the cruise ships experienced technical difficulties and ended up sitting off the coast of Pensacola for four long days.
The Holiday was set to depart from Mobile, Alaska and travel down to Mexico on the 30th of December. Now, however, tourism officials are reporting they have received many complaints from passengers on the sold-out cruise.
Passengers were not alerted to a problem or the cancellation of the Mexico stop until they boarded the ship. Some decided to stay onboard and continue, while others looked for a refund or a free cruise. Carnival has not said whether they’ll refund.
