Mandela Tells World "My Son Had AIDS"
 

After earlier reports that Nelson Mandela's son had died of an undisclosed illness, the former South African president, 86, has announced that the cause of death was AIDS.

Accompanied by family when making the announcement, Mandela said: "Let us give publicity to HIV/Aids and not hide it, because [that is] the only way to make it appear like a normal illness."

Activists for the HIV/AIDS cause say that South Africa has approximately five million HIV/AIDS patients.

where's the cure? This disease has been around long enough for a cure to be found & covered up at least twice.

Nah, it's only been about 25 years hasn't it? I think the first case in humans was some guy in america in the mid 70s. Correct me if I'm wrong, i'm too tired to bother researching it, just checking my emails before bed :)
