The Michigan Lawsuit Abuse Watch has issued their annual awards for wacky warning labels for the eighth year in a row. The group seeks to highlight how lawsuits have made common sense warning labels prevalent in society.
The winning label was found on a toilet cleaning brush. The warning read, "Do not use for personal hygiene." Second place was found on a children's scooter, "This product moves when used."
Third prize was for a digital thermometer which warned, "Once used rectally, the thermometer should not be used orally." The group president said in a statement, "Warning labels are a sign of our lawsuit-plagued times..."
