Pop singer Aaron Carter escaped death and serious injury on Wednesday night, as he managed to survive the explosion of his Cadillac Escalade after what is described as "bizarre" accident on Florida Turnpike.
The SUV burst into flames after it struck a mattress, that came loose from a delivery truck driving in front of him. The mattress got stuck under the car and inflamed, probably by the SUVs exhaust system.
Carter immediately pulled over and escaped the car with a friend of his, just in time as it explode. Both were treated at the scene of minor injuries. Carter said in a statement, he was quite shocked, but fine.
