Fox Axes Mickey Rooney´s Nude Butt Super Bowl-Ad

In preventing an imminent new Super Bowl nudity scandal, Fox has axed the planned broadcast of an "Airborne"-ad showing 84-year-old Hollywood legend Mickey Rooney´s nude butt. It appeared inappropriate, a network spokesman claimed.

A year after Janet Jackson´s nude breast incident, the network pulled the plug on the TV ad as precautionary measure. Therein Rooney is shown in a sauna, wearing nothing but a towel.

As a man behind him coughs, he overreacts, screams and tries to leave, dropping his towel and baring his behind for two seconds. The maker of Airborne natural cold remedy defended it as unsexual as showing a baby´s butt. Rooney protested the decision.

Run away!

Why are Americans so phobic about nudity? I am not referring to aesthically displeasing images such old men's saggy nasty butts...

Why does MTV blur out the nipples on a greek statue? Oh, I know....

.00001 percent of the population might get offended and sue them.

I enjoy having soft-porn on my local television right before Saturday morning cartoons begin, here in Central Europe. It's great way to enjoy a bowl of cereal.
