Missing Student Case: Police Find a Body

Cambridgeshire (UK) Police have confirmed that a body of a young female has been found in the American Military Cemetery at Madingley. They have not confirmed whether the body is that of missing student Sally Geeson, 22.

Sally Geeson disappeared after attending a New Year's Eve party in the Cambridge town centre. Det Supt Garry Swain, who is leading the investigation into Sally's disappearance said: "I can confirm that we have found a body in the woods."

Swain also told the press: "I am here as are some of the other investigating officers. The family of Sally Geeson have been told we have found a body but obviously at this stage I cannot confirm any identification."
