Manchester United Held 0-0 by Non-League Exeter

Manchester United have been held 0-0 in their FA Cup draw against the non-league side Exeter. Manchester fans booed their side off the pitch and manager Sir Alex Ferguson apologised for the sides poor performance.

"In my 18 years at this club, that was the worst performance we have ever produced in the FA Cup," Ferguson said. "This is Exeter's day and the only positive thing we can take is that we're still in the competition."

Ferguson had rested key players for the match but didn't want to use that as an excuse. "I will play a much stronger team in the replay and we will not make this mistake again," Ferguson told the press.
