US Nuclear Sub Accident - One Killed

The US Pacific Fleet has released a statement confirming that one sailor has died today following an incident yesterday in which the nuclear submarine, the USS San Francisco, ran aground. The sailor's name has not been released

The USPF said that the submarine has suffered some external damage but the nuclear reactor was intact. The USS San Francisco is slowly making its way back to port under observation. 24 sailors were injured in the incident.

Lt. Adam Clampitt of USPF said: "When the ship arrives back to its port, there will be an investigation to evaluate the extent of the damage. Anytime we lose a shipmate it's a great loss."

  Interesting fact

It is on its way to Guam and if you trace it's course it could have come from the source of the Tsunami....

Let the flaming begin.

  Tsunami earthquake?

Does anyone have any legitimate suspicions about the Indian Ocean earthquake being non-natural? I love a good conspiracy story.

  Yep... There are lots...

There are a few threads in forums as well with links.

I personally think it was natural though...

  Sure...

It would require the energy of thousands of times the worlds nuclear arsenal to unleash a tsunami like this.
If this is the result of a weapon, I think we would have heard the guy firing....

  Not really....

Small things trigger big things.
Snow slides can be triggered by sound waves if the circumstances are right...

  Not to mention...

the nuclear radiation that would be there in huge quantities. There's no way to hide that. People who think this was the act of humans obviously have pre-conditioned hatred of said humans to throw logic right out the window and even consider this.

  Maybe instead of a bomb

it was a drill. In one of the Brosnan Bond movies they use an submarine drill to steal weapons from another sub. Maybe they built a submarine drill to go down towards the center of the earth's core and drill causing seismic activity? (Probably not)

  tesla

if anything it's a tesla weapon, the seismic generator. Though if you go down that route then you can blame the high amount of natural disasters on the tesla weapons and that there's a secret war being fought behind the scenes.
