Fake Harry Potter 6 Selling Website Taken Offline

The BBC has alerted JK Rowling's literary agent to a website offering an electronic version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Price for $9.95. The agent in turn has had the website closed down.

The site claimed "This book is available now in electronic variant only..." Christopher Little, Rowling's literary agent, has warned fans off such offers because none of the 6 Harry Potter books are available in electronic form.

Little said: "Unfortunately Harry Potter fans have found out that there are large number of people out there who want to cash in on this wonderful phenomenon.. it is very sad. I hope all genuine fans will keep a wary eye out for this kind of thing."
