Sperm Donor Reality Show in the Works

Production companies True Entertainment and Brighter Pictures are developing a reality show where male contestants would compete to become a sperm donor for a female who wants to bear a child. This show would come from those behind "Big Brother."

They failed to get European channels to pick up the show after pro-life groups protested. The concept was nicknamed “Make Me a Mum." A Dutch MP was inflamed enough to call for a government investigation. Whether US networks bite is a question.

To try to woo US channels, they are pitching the idea of using microscopic cameras to show the egg being fertilized by the sperm. Now the question is if such an idea will see the furor sparked by the Fox show "Who's Your Daddy."

  It will stop when

the low life general public stops watching it and the ratings go down. It isn't good TV, it SUCKS!!! It's demoralizing, crap. It's not "reality" in the least, just pure garbage. It just so happens that the networks have found an easy way to make huge profit, and the general public loves it. It's a compatition to see who can provide the cheapest thrills. Unfortunately for the rest of us, most idiots watch it for the SHEAR NOVELTY OF IT!!! Since people can't seem to look past shallow content such as that, I doubt it will stop any time soon.

  what a

fu*kn joke! These stupid reality TV shows have gone too far. They're all so sh*t, especially big brother.
I watch TV to get out of reality, not to watch a buch of wankers do stupid stuff, that's what the pub is for.

  Idiots

I wonder when they are going to figure out that reality TV has had its 15 minutes of fame. New reality shows are getting poor ratings, older more established ones are losing ground. People are bored with this shit and want some real entertainment.
