The lead singer of KISS, Gene Simmons, is being sued by an ex-girlfriend who claims Simmons defamed her as a “sex-addicted nymphomaniac” during a television special about the history of the band.
The special “When Kiss Ruled the World” portrayed the woman as a “sexually loose, immoral, unchaste woman" according to the suit. Aired on VH1 it also showed the woman’s photo precisely 11 times while Simmons discussed his sex antics.
The ex claims that she was in a faithful, long relationship with Simmons when she was 21 years old and he hadn’t made it big yet. VH1 and their parent company Viacom are also being sued.
