At MacWorld in San Francisco, Apple unveiled a $100 version of its iPod Shuffle player which has 512 MB which is enough for 60 songs. An $150 version holds 1 GB of storage. Most competitor's products that cost $150 hold 512 MB of storage.
Apple also showcased its new $30 iPod accessories which include a dock, a iPod sports case and a 20-hour battery extender. While iPods appear to have dominated the expo, the $500 Mac Mini computer was on display.
The Mac Mini is Apple's cheapest computer ever, and it has a 40 GB hard drive, 256 MB of RAM and a 1.25-GHz processor. The Mac Mini that costs $100 more has an 80 GB hard drive, and a a 1.42-GHz. These computers are CPU only.
