Bashir Subpoenaed by Jackson Prosecution

British TV reporter, Martin Bashir, has been subpoenaed by the Michael Jackson prosecution. Bashir was behind the controversial documentary program "Living with Michael Jackson", which led to a criminal probe of Michael Jackson.

Superior Court Judge Rodney Melville said Bashir was a “necessary material witness” because of his production and editing of the documentary. During the program Jackson talked about sharing his bedroom with boys and was filmed with his accuser.

Jackson's trial is due to open on January 31st in Santa Maria, California, and Bashir is on March 1st.
