Three BMW Models Win New Zealand Awards

BMW have won three COTY awards in New Zealand. All three awards were for 2004 launches in New Zealand. The 6 Series, launched in March 2004, was announced executive car of the year by Company Vehicle magazine.

The 6 Series was also given the title sports car of the year by the National Business Review. NZ4WD magazine honoured the X3, launched in July 2004, with the title luxury car of the year. Autocar awarded the 1 Series the compact car of the year.

Mark Gilbert, Managing Director of BMW Group NZ, said: "This string of results is very exciting, and we look forward to further recognition of our new models as we progress into the new year."
