Strawberry Fields not Forever

Britain's Salvation Army has announced that it is to close it’s Strawberry Field children's home in Liverpool which inspired the famous Beatles song "Strawberry Fields Forever."

The closure is due to the changing demands of child welfare according to The Christian charity which opened the home on Beaconsfield Road in Liverpool, a short distance from John Lennon's childhood home in 1936.
