Pair Receive Nearly US$1400 Speeding Tickets in 3 Hours

Piotr Pac, 21, of Prospect Heights, Illinois and his girlfriend, Emilia A. Goralczyk, 18, of Mount Prospect, IL were cited for speeding in four Wisconsin counties in less than 4 hours on New Year's Day.

Wisconsin State Patrol officials issued citations for speeds of 77, 84, 100 and 108 miles per hour on Interstate 90. The time period was near sunrise and the vehicle was a 2004 Nissan Altima.

Ms Goralczyk had called Mr Pac at 4 AM that day, crying over a fight she had with a friend, so he drove 180 miles to Wisconsin Dells to meet her.

"You have to have an exciting life," Mr Pac said, "because [otherwise] life is boring."

  Similar incident
In the town i used to live in, in South Australia, a brother of one of my best friends sped through a radar on his way into town, then realising he forgot something, got caught again speeding back home.

Then on his way back in he got caught again, this time he got pissed off at the police radar for causing so much trouble, so he proceeded to attach a chain to it and his motorbike, and speed off with it.

Funnily enough, the chain he had attached to it got caught in his bike and caused him to crash, and the police got him...cost his family big money, they had to sell their bakery business.

Moral of the story - Police radars are dangerous!!

  Friendship?
Friendship award? I'm sure then story is heartwarming, the mans a true hero for endangering every driver passenger and pedestrian lifes. I doubt he had their permission. This is a story of reckless disregard. Now if the woman was DYING, then I might be slightly more understanding, but at this point get a police escort. Because some girl you know is crying is not acceptable.

Moral of the story, don't speed. Stick the the speed limit = No fines and no need for costly equipment to detect speed traps.
