A few Americans who did not vote for Bush are selling blue bracelets on the internet to signify that they voted for Kerry. NYC native Berns Rothchild got the idea from her mother who mentioned Lance Armstrong's "LIVESTRONG" bracelets.
While it is noted that these bracelets probably won't sell as much as Armstrong's ones do, Rothchild has sold 300, Brenda McKnight has sold 4,000 and Laura Adams has sold 3,300. Adams' bracelets state "HOPE." McKngight's say "I DID NOT VOTE 4 BUSH."
The bracelets sold by Rothchild state: "COUNT ME BLUE." All three bracelet sellers are donating proceeds to causes like Save the Children and UNICEF. To combat his daughter, John Rothchild is selling "COUNT ME RED" bracelets to support Bush.
