Woman Drunk on Mouthwash Arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

ADRIAN, Mich. - Police arrested 50-year-old Carol A. Ries after the vehicle she was driving rear ended another vehicle. A breathalyzer test revealed she had three times the blood alcohol content required to be charged with DUI.

Officers at the scene of the accident observed an open bottle of Listerine mouth wash in her vehicle. Upon questioning, Ries told police that she drank three glasses of the product that day.

Listerine has a 26.9 % alcohol content, which is more than most malt liquors.

  So What now?
Are they going to pass a law regarding open containers of mouthwash? I tell you this is a strange world we live in, what about rubbing alcahol?

  Now....
She sues for being able to buy alcohold from a general store, it not being labelled as an alcohol product, loss of earnings for being banned from driving etc....
With the money she makes she won't have to work ever again.....

Where is my nearest Chemist... Damn, it's Sunday.

  Ever have an Aqua V?
Some people dring that Aqua Velva stuff. Man that must be harsh, but the bushes near a bar I lived at were full of empty Aqua Velva Bottles.
Because they are not considered alcoholic drinks (Your supposed to spit listerine and rub Aqua Velva on your skin) they are much cheaper cause they are not taxed.

  I knew...
of a woman who was a bad alcoholic and drank a whole bottle of Nyquil and died.
I saw a program on TV that showed American Indians drinking Lysol spray. They punctured the can and drank the liquid.

Okay there are all kinds of drugs, etc
Theres are so many kind of ways to get high off of common household products, but yet there not classified as a drug, or alcohol. Lables on the products do not even mention the side effects of inproper use. When I was just a little lad, we use to spray hairspray on cigs, and smoke them, it would give you a buzz ant then some. That was over 20 some yrs ago, now you would think that by now they would ban hairspray from youths.
