Researcher Says 20% of Scots Carry DNA of Iraqi Origin

The writer and producer of a book and documentary series, Alistair Moffat, with help from Professor Bryan Sykes of the Oxford Ancestors Project, has revealed that one in five Scots carry DNA originating from Iraqi ancestors.

His research has led him to the conclusion that farmers from around 4000BC colonised Scotland along with hunter-gatherers from England and northern Europe. Moffat believes the early Scots were far more civilised than was previously thought.

According to him, fledgling Scots actually spoke Old Welsh before the Gaelic language evolved. The writer also claims that Atlantis actually existed, in what is now called the North Sea.

  Yes, ayestiva!
 This report is a mixture of truth and bunco nonsense, but this is typical of 'modern science'!

If you'd like to know what extensive historical documents reveal about these matters, then look at this history by British historian Bill Cooper:

  @Rory182
 Well they are only 20% iraqie so you would have to seperate them but i agree with ayestiva. Just comes back to the idea of atlantis. And how could iraqies over 6000 years ago get to scotland with out breeding along the way up through Europe and why go so far when you pass nice areas (farming wise) like germany france and england and go to a rocky area that is scottland (im not saying scotland is bad or anything)
