An AirTran Airways pilot was arrested by airport authorities late last week in Las Vegas after an airport screener reported that he smelt strongly of alcohol. Pilot Oliver Paul Reason Jr. was arrested in the cockpit of an AirTran plane.
The Orlando-based airline said about the incident: “The captain neither took command of the aircraft nor was the aircraft operated in any manner." 60 passengers were inconvenienced by the cancellation of the flight.
