In an unprecedented move the judge in the molestation case against Michael Jackson has granted him permission to break the courts gag order and respond to a ABC News report on the grand jury testimony in a pre-trial TV interview with Geraldo Rivera.
ABC News had broadcasted obtained transcripts of the accuser's grand jury testimony, explicitly describing lewd acts of molestation by the pop star. Jackson pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Jackson has already recorded a one-on-one TV interview with Geraldo Rivera. It will be aired short before the start of jury selection. Prosecutors objected the judge´s decision citing the interview could poison the jury pool.
