Iraqi Militants Promise Long War

As president Bush was being sworn in, militants in Iraq promised to fight for "months and years" to free their country from the US.

Al-Zarqawi's group, an AlQaeda ally, released a tape to rally their troops and urge them to prepare for a long holy war. Another group claimed to have killed a Briton. That claim has not been verified.

  Ironic thing is....
If they just sat back and stopped for a few months, the U.S. would probably leave. G.W. is looking for anyway out now that he has accomplished his mission of getting Saddam. Then once the U.S. left, if they felt like killing their government, more power to them.

  damn them all
My brother-in-law has just been stationed in Iraq, leaving my sister and their two children to worry about him.

Now it's getting really personal.
