NEW YORK, NY - An 18 year old man has been arrested and charged with murder and assault after he allegedly stabbed his girlfriend and her cousin in an argument over a puppy.
Samuel Encarnacion reportedly became upset when the victims didn't allow him to play or help train a pit bull puppy. His girlfriend, 16 year old Ophelia Torres, is in critical condition after receiving 12 stab wounds.
The girlfriend's cousin, 20 year old Johnny Torres, received multiple stab wounds to his torso resulting in his death. The incident occurred at 02:45 am Thursday in a Bronx apartment.
