Late Night Talk Show Legend Johnny Carson Dead At 79
 

Late night talk show icon Johnny Carson died in his sleep early Sunday morning from emphysema. He was 79 years old.

He was the beloved talk show host of the Tonight Show for 30 years. He retired in 1992 and was replaced by Jay Leno.

 Carson was in the news just a few days ago. Someone had interviewed him and Carson mentioned how he still pitches the occasional joke for Letterman to use in his monologue...

 Zero contributions is true. I am new in contributing. Do I first need to contribute about a 100 times before I can have a point. Didn't read that when signing on;-)

My point is that not everyone knows who Carson is. I am not trying to be a smartass or bashing Americans but i noticed on more news items that US news is just news and other countries news is news where it is stated about which country it is going.
Stating what country it is about makes things more understandable to folks.
