Friends Penis Cake Complaint Rejected

A pressure group known as The Parents Television Council has had their complaints to the FCC rejected. The group was formed by concerned parents wishing to make US TV more family friendly. Members file complaints with the FCC when they are offended.

The PTC objected to an episode of Friends in which a penis shaped cake was shown. 36 of their members sent in complaints that were flatly rejected by the FCC.

The same group also filed complaints against Will and Grace, The Simpsons and The Gilmore Girls. The FCC reviewed the segments and ruled that under community standards none were considered indecent.

penis's are the source of all evil
they should be banned outright, cake or otherwise!

Well, they can say bitch, damn, hell, piss and i think on one show they said dick... And as for Friends, its a show aimed at older teens and adults anyway. My TV lets me know the ratings of shows and that in turn lets me know what shows are appropriate for my two boys under the age of 5. Like that damned Ed, Edd and Eddy (rating for that is Y7 which means there are things that children under 7 wont understand or mild violence)<shudder> Cant stand it, dont like it, so the boys dont watch it. Simple as that. If you dont want to see something offensive on tv, change the channel, or close your eyes. Don't bitch about it.

  Kinda reminds me
When I was like 11, my mom bought my dad a boob cake for his 40th birthday. It didnt do any damage to me and I certainly didnt find it offensive. I thought it was the funniest and most fascinating thing in the world. But I was raised a little different and Im still normal. Its all how you raise your kids, and how you talk to them when they view or experience something like that. My parents never sheltered me from anything like that. If I saw a movie with kissing, I'd cover my eyes. I could always ask my parents any questions I had and they answered them the best they could. They never sugar coated anything.
