Man's Suicide Attempt Kills 11

GLENDALE, CA. - A man's failed suicide attempt resulted in the deaths of 11 people when his antics caused a train collision that injured at least 200 others.

Prosecutors have filed 11 murder charges against 25-year-old Juan Manuel Alvarez, who reportedly parked his jeep on the train tracks in order to kill himself, then jumped to safety in the last moments before a train struck the vehicle.

The commuter train derailed and struck another train. The suspect was treated for superficial injuries, jailed and placed on suicide watch.

	Had he not heard of strangulation or something...
	Perhaps he needed to converse on-line to find safer, as in 'to others', ways of killing himself. Ooops, that guy is being prosecuted.... What an idiot... Should get life in a mental institution..

	Man if you gonna off your self just do it dont put others at risk, the fer killed innoccent people and was too chicken to carry through with his own death. I think he should be locked in a safe room where there is no way he can kill him self with nothing to look at except white walls all day and night for the rest of his life.

	they were going to try him for murder... Think he'll get the death penalty? Ok I know he wont, the most they could pin on him is manslaughter with is not punishable by death iirc. Wouldn't that be ironic?

	Why evolution must be allowed to proceed: This man. And his kind everywhere. They must find their way out of the collective genome. What a miserable coward, and so much damage... Suicidal people should be euthanized. They present a threat to everyone with that. For their own and everyone else's good, they should be taken from their misery. They all too often do something like this. First a homeless bum trying to keep warm in the subway in NYC (bums should be imprisoned, safe and warm, for the crime of vagrancy) and now this twit with his Jeep on the railway in California. How many millions of dollars to repair the acts of wandering miscreants and self-harmers? Sooner a few tens of thousands a year to keep them stored away behind lock and key, or assisted in their desire to die. Money well spent, in fact. And lives saved. Let us not forget a) The latter fool killed others in his abortive attempt b) When an economy suffers due to something such as a rail/subwayline being down, people are bound to lose access to work... it's bound to foul things up enough in hurting a local economy, people may well live poorer or die as a result of such actions as those of the bum. He's ruining it for so many more people than his own indigent self. For the safety of society, these threats must be contained or neutralized. Help the suicidal, and keep the wanderers under lock and key. Or else beg bloody train-death and destroyed subways -- I won't have it! These men are terrorists. Not immature; not stupid; not childish. Terrorists. To DEATH for them.
