50 year old Egyptian immigrant Ahmed Ibrahim not only drives a cab, he also runs a free dating service. He sets people up on blind dates about 8 times a week. He looks for those who want to settle down and avoids those who want a quick hookup.
Ibrahim says: "New York is a very tough city for dating. I have heard a lot of crying in this cab, a lot of fighting and a lot of broken hearts." He noticed a person would leave his cab upset only to pick up a person after who seemed a perfect match.
33-year-old media studies grad student Natalie Dillon gave her cell number to Ibrahim and 6 weeks later he set her up with 34-year-old attorney Martin Karamon. the two have been dating ever since. An agent wants to sell Ibrahim's story to Hollywood.
