Chocolate Company Accused of Using Child Labor

Lawmakers have claimed that some chocolate factories in west Africa, and other parts of the world are using child labor to produce those sweet, sweet, candies you may be giving your valentine this year.

"If we can have our tuna fish dolphin-free, we can have our chocolate slave-free," stated Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y. at a conference were he also pledged to avoid all chocolate products this Valentines day.

Human Rights activists claim that around 90% of coca farms in the Ivory coast use child labor. The supervisors of the companies, and the Chocolate Manufacturers Association are surprised, and are taking strong measures to deal with the situation.

  ok title fixed
but anyway this whole child labor thing was first revealed on another site last year, no wait 2 years ago... I cant remember the site except I get an image of the word YELLOW... anyway, yeah people know about this and they do nothing... but you know even though the slaves are makin it, the candy lords are sellin it, sugar, you know man... I could give it up...

yes sugar is a drug, this is another example of the legal drugs making big money for huge companies, ..phillip morris and enhauser busch, - see my last rant - whereas cannabis can be grown in any window box in any town and does not need to be mixed in huge vats...

hello! wake up and smell the maple nut crunch!!
