Amazon.co.uk has been forced to make a formal apology after more than 100,000 Harry Potter fans received an email stating that Amazon’s supplier will not be shipping the book on time, and that customers should look elsewhere.
The eMail, of course, was a blunder and Amazon has assured customers that the book will be delivered on the 16th of July, as promised. “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” is Amazon’s second-best seller ever, 5 months before it’s release date.
The apology eMail read: "We assure you that howlers have been sent to the muggles responsible for this action and we are investigating the possibility that You-Know-Who may have been involved."
