2 Britons Killed in French Avalanche

Two Britons, Sam Harber and James Rourke, have been killed while snowboarding in the French alps after an avalanche buried them last Thursday. Rourke’s body has been found, however, and Harber is presumed dead.

The search for Harber’s body had to be called off due to poor weather conditions. The pair – who were close friends – were working for Snowline VIP when the avalanche occurred. French officials said the avalanche was 500m wide.

Snowline VIP is a London firm who has offered the families of the deceased a trip to Val d'Isere.
