al-Qaeda 3rd in Command Captured in Pakistan

Pakistani forces have captured Abu Faraj al-Libbi, reportedly al-Qaeda's 3rd in command in the most senior al-Qaeda arrest since Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was arrested in 2003.

Libbi was wanted in connection with assassination attempts on Pakistan's president Pervez Musharraf, and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz. President Bush called the arrest "a critical victory in the war on terror".

Libbi, a Libyan national had a 20 Million rupee ($340,000) ransom out for his capture and investigators say they have received lots of tips and information from this capture and are "on the right track" to eventually capturing Bin Laden.
