“Cookie Diet” Helps Man Lose 90 Pounds

A Philadelphia man who weighed 312 pounds just three months ago has successively lost weight using The Siegal Program – a diet which includes medical exams and regular blood tests. The participant eats six cookies a day.

The cookies are filling and nutritious and the participant then eats a sensible evening meal. The man, Dave Pickel, saw the diet featured on the TV show “Healthwatch” on NBC10 in February. Pickel said he lost 19 pounds in ten days.

The weight loss then slowed after the first two weeks, and he is now consistently losing five pounds a week.

  huuummmm

I think I remember seeing the NBC show, and the cookies are actually 'composed' of stuff to assist in weight loss. geeeez Feb is so long ago that remembering is difficult. Notice it said 6 cookies a day, almost like a perscription. Although it is a cookie, it's not like an Oreo. Maybe their archives will offer more info.
I will look when I have the time to sit and search.
