Having played computer games for twelve hours straight, a Russian boy came home. His mother found his erratic behavior disturbing enough that she called an ambulance. Doctors placed the boy in an intensive care unit.
The boy spent almost seven weeks fighting for life before succumbing to stroke. Pathologists had revealed that the boy's brain had been affected by cerebral pathologies.
Russian doctors think that sitting long hours in front of computers without food, water and rest are as dangerous to a young body as alcohol and drug abuse. The damage is exacerbated by the psychological disorders, split personality and depression.
