Saudi Prince Bandar Resigns Due to Health Problems

Prince Bandar bin Sultan, ambassador to the U.S. to Crown Prince Abdullah, has had to tender his resignation due to on going health problems. Bandar has been a powerful head of the Washington diplomatic community and was named envoy in 1983.

There have been several reports of Bandar's struggle with depression over the last several years that led to over use of antidepressants. His leaving doesn't appear to be related to the health of King Fahd, who is still in the hospital in Riyadh.

  I fixed their computers!

Sorry, I'm still excited to have fixed computers for royalty. One of the Saudi princes is finishing his medical degree near my home town, their computer broke down and I had to fix it. They left me sitting in their beautiful living room for over an hour while I waited for them to get out of bed and explain their problem. Their housekeeper wouldn't even let me into the computer room. It was like 1:30p and they hadn't gotten out of bed. I just sat there billing by the hour. :)
Ended up leaving before starting the job.

  Glaring at Bandar

yep. suprise. I think he will retire to a lush paradise now that he got his dues coming for helping launch the Iraq war and the 9/11 attacks.
