O.J. Simpson found 100% Guilty

A federal judge in Miami has ordered the former NFL superstar to pay $25,000 to DirecTV for damages. Mr. Simpson was found guilty of receiving pirated satellite stations and having illegal devices known as 'bootloaders'.

According to Simpson's attorney, Yale Galanter, the judge denied Mr. Simpson a trial by jury and instead the case was heard by the judge himself.

When Simpson was later questioned about paying the fines, Simpson replied, "We are examining our legal options. ... We want our day in court."

  oh damn...here comes the OJ bashers
 I'm just awaiting the silly jokes and other juvinile comments.

But really though, OJ should have known bootlegging satelite is A DUMB IDEA. It's ok to bootleg cable...a whole lot easier. Bootlegging satelite...THEY CAN TRACK YOU!!!

  @hotrock
 Before I read your comment I was going to ask how he was caught.
You've got 'em switched, cable is easy to track, satellite is nearly impossible. Broadcast TV satellite signals are one way communication. If anybody knows how he got caught, I'd love to know.

  @dal: from what I remember
 From what I remember, he wasn't the one they originally popped. They busted two other guys and they pretty much ratted on him in order to get a lighter sentence.

  Easy target?
 Everyone and their brother used to hack satelite. Why go after OJ? Was he an easy target b/c he had money? I think so!

  Just goes to prove...
 You can get away with murder... but you HAVE to pay your bills. :-)

I just can't believe that this guy got away with murder but couldn't get away with pirating a satellite signal... that's funny. He doesn't havy Johnny anymore that's why.

  If the card don't fit you must acquit!
 Too bad Cochran is not around anymore to defend OJ....

  Crimes are ranked in importance
 economicaly by anyone important.

Killing a nobody on a street corner will get looked into, a bit.
Crashing a car accidentaly and shutting down a trainline will get you stood in front of a wall with a piece of paper over your heart.

Its sad but true.

  Poor O J :)
 Seems like they watch OJs every move

He got in trouble with that drug Ecstasy i remember reading, then someone took him to court over Road rage and lost and now direct TV
Everyone wants some of his money it seems Like
Its SO Sad that he has not paid any money to the Goldmans or his Wife's family

  Actually OJ was caught in the 'cross fire'
 If memory serves correct, two guys got popped for selling illegal sat devices and the like to ppl. The get a lesser sentence they dropped a dime on some of their big time clients and one them happen to be the Juice himself.

  OJ couldnt afford to pay his Satellite bill
 DirecTV knew this was an easy conviction. Probably the guy that hooked him up didn't get all his money and ratted on O.J. Hehe
