Jessica Simpson Shellshocked by Iraq Video Loss

Jessica Simpson and her husband, stars of an MTV reality show, recently went to Iraq for taping a variety TV show for another network, ABC. Now the star wants to know where the footage has disappeared to.

"It was unbelievable. They didn't show a lot of what really went on with the enemy attacks and the shelling. There was so much stuff that went on and somehow the tapes got mysteriously misplaced." said Simpson.

"It put everything in perspective for me. It really did teach me the definition of sacrifice. I can't even fathom being out there right now. I was ready to come home."

  Jessica Simpson
Is this the same Jessica Simpson that bravely took on the Iraqi army single-handedly, got raped in an enemy hospital and was rescued under heavy fire by a crack spec ops team? If so, its ironic for her to even be considered for a reality tv show, bearing in mind what she is famous for has no basis in reality itself. Not that her US audience would know.

  OMG
I just read the source and a trail of articles about what her and her hubby are at the moment - pop singers-turned-reality TV couple. I must have blinked and missed her singing career but I'll keep an eye out for her tv stuff. Paris Hilton should take notes....

  LOL @Flashby
Yeah that was Jessica LYNCH. ;)

BTW I hope you were kidding with her 'heroics'.

  Ah
These Jessicas all seem the same to me ;) My bad.

I was joking about the heroics btw.

  God forbid ...
Looks like Jessica has finally gotten up the courage to step outside of her gatted community in Hollywood Hills. Now she finally gets a dose of what the real world is like.

It's a shame that one of those 'insurgents' didn't RPG her Hummer. I can't stand her reality TV series. This girl is thick, I mean REALLY thick. Everytime I hear her say something I want to commit hara-kiri. >.<

  anyone recall...
britney spears saying something like "i think everyone should support the president of the US in everything they do"

it was very close along those lines... i haven't actually heard it in atleast a year.

blind faith (other i sure call it good faith, but that doesn't negate its still blind faith), i could never have in anybody. esspecially when they differ so much with what i believe.

 Yep here's the quote:
"Honestly, I think we should just trust our president in every decision that he makes and we should just support that".

  @treyjazz... yep
thats the one i was talking about.

  goooood
we need more 'simple' famous folk coming out against the war, all of these intelligent liberal celebs aren't having much effect on hicks in the red states
 by: lachs     07/28/2005 09:46 AM
  Maybe if...
we got all the intellectuals full of botox and plastic then put them in a hollywood mansion and let them vote members out of the house people would listen to them?
by: jaded fox     07/28/2005 01:26 PM
  @jaded
Although it makes me want to weep, I genuinely do think that what you suggest would work. Unfortunately, governments and the media have known that for years and have had the lowest common voter denominator held as a captive audience for some time now. They keep telling them what to buy, how to vote, what should be important to them, what shouldn't be important to them. They tell them what to fear and who to turn to in order to be protected. Turn off the tv transmitters and within 24 hours there would be bloody carnage everywhere.

I should send the idea to a station. As long as I call it a reality show someone is bound to give it a try.

Ha. Don't send your idea to ABC- it'll disappear forever.

  Good, now send Britney, Coulter..
..since there's already a lot of recruiting problems.
http://www.hbo.com/ And don't worry. We'll make sure to have our taxcuts before we send or don't bother to send you proper equipment. As Rumsfeld says: "You go to war with the Army you have, not the Army you might want or wish to have."

Nice... Wish I had HBO. :/

  Britney in the army.
Well maybe she'll modify all the uniforms to show off belly buttons that should help our troops.
