Hewlett-Packard will Quit Reselling iPods

Hewlett-Packard Co. has made a decision to quit reselling the Apple iPod ending a deal with Apple that former CEO Carly Fiorina had brokered. The partnership had contributed to about five percent of Apple's iPod business.

"HP has decided that reselling iPods does not fit within the company's current digital entertainment strategy," said Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris. "As a result, HP plans to stop reselling iPods by the end of this September."
