Victor M. Piazza walked into a nail polish factory, Verla International in upstate New York, and shot the co-owners and a manager in the head. Piazza once worked at the factory, but he was fired after being arrested for having child pornography.
Mario Maffei, 57, and Robert Roth, 65, who were co-owners of the factory, were in stable condition Monday evening. JoAnne OBrien, 48, their office manager, was listed in critical condition. The gunman was dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
