Google Offers New Stream of Chris Rock Sitcom

Google Inc has once again branched out and is now offering online streaming of Chris Rock's new comedy "Everybody Hates Chris". Outlets apart from Google have previously offered prime-time show streams, but "Chris" is the first for Google.

The premiere episode of UPN's new comedy will be offered until Thursday, when the second episode is set to air. To prevent illegal distribution, the episode is not available to download through Google's service.

Peter Chane, a senior manager in Google's video team, said of the new service: "We're constantly exploring new ideas on how to deliver content to users." The streaming also gives Google the chance to test the Google Video technology.

for me. It sounds like Max Headroom occasionally, but most streaming media does because of buffering.
