The 1977 documentary featuring Swedish sensations ABBA is set to be released globally on DVD for the first time next month, according tot he Universal Music Group. The documentary was written and directed by Lasse Hallstrom.
It features footage from ABBA's 1977 tour of Australia. It was one of the first films ever to use "surround" sound. Hallstrom was the man behind many ABBA videos, and he went on to make "The Cider House Rules" and "What's Eating Gilbert Grape."
The film was released on DVD in Europe, excluding France, on Monday.
