Ashlee Simpson Tops Album Charts
 

Ashlee Simpson's sophomore album "I Am Me" has fought off Rod Stewart, Martina McBride and Stevie Wonder, to reach the top of the album charts in the United States, selling 220,000 copies in its first week of release.

Simpson's first album "Autobiography" was also a chart topper, however the singer was criticised over the past year for a now-infamous lip-synching, jig-dancing incident on Saturday Night Live.

First week sales of "I Am Me" are well below the first week sales of "Autobiography", which reached 398,000 units.

Isn't it sad how someone who was caught on live TV lip singing is still and selling albums. If we continue to reward those for tallent who basically have none then we shoudl give Millie back that grammy.

She has NO talent. I saw her Saturday Night Live performance-- she has changed her vocal style so she stops screaming, and stays in one range so the timbre of her voice barely fluctuates.

Her lyrics are insipid, uninspired, and her bandmates are talentless geeks.

BUT ALL THIS DOES NOT MATTER when you are on the air for ten hours a day globally, along with her sister (who is also talentless, brainless, and pretty).


Ashlee--- this is the glorious peak moment of yor life. Enjoy it for the next few months. The parents buying your crap in Wal-mart for their eleven year old daughters will be buying something else next Christmas.
